Giving Back

Yosemite Makeup & Hair LLC is active in giving back to our local mountain community as well as many other worthwhile charitable organizations throughout the year. Our primary focus is on supporting the environment, art, women and children, and education. Below are just a few of the non-profits that we actively support...

Oakhurst Chamber of Commerce, Yosemite Sierra Artists, Eastern Madera County Foundation, Mountain Area Youth Organization (MyClub), and Wasuma Elementary School PTA among others.

One of the ways that we regularly give back is through our local Wasuma PTA. This past weekend, we took part on in decorating a tree on behalf of our school for the Annual Christmas Tree Auction hosted at Tenaya Lodge Yosemite and sponsored by MyClub. Our PTA President Melanie Lopez and other PTA parents worked for weeks to create a fun and unique theme for this year's Nightmare Before Christmas tree as well as to bring in donations from our surrounding community and

Central Valley. The tree was surrounded by gifts from local businesses including The Elderberry House, Millers' Landing, The Pines Resort, Savage Serenity MedSpa, Target, Dave & Busters, RaisingCaines, Pedal Forward, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Andrews Electric, Villians Collectibles, Hallmark, LetsRoam, MountainMuscle, among other items. Thanks to the generous support of these businesses, the tree and gifts were then auctioned off with the proceeeds benefitting Wasuma students as well as MyClub youth. These proceeds will be used to fund class field trips, school assemblies, and bring additional programs to our school. We look forward to next year's event!
